WHO WE ARE
Schnell was founded in 2008 as a single product company to saving energy in street lighting. Streetlights were glowing brighter during the wee hours of the night and during low traffic. There was wasteful consumption of power at a time of power crisis.
In the following years, we evolved to provide a complete solution by leveraging LED lighting, remote monitoring, and cloud computing to optimize lighting levels, save energy and bring down maintenance costs. By continuously innovating, we have been able to build in-house capabilities for embedded systems, web and mobile applications, Low-energy Bluetooth (BLE), RF and WiFi mesh connected IoT systems.
Today, Schnell Energy is recognized as a Smart City and Internet of Things (IoT) industry leader with more than 25 offices across all major states in India. Schnell Energy is a one-stop IoT solution provider for a City to make all things Smart with services ranging from customized products to maintenance of assets.
Schnell has implemented more than 100 energy efficiency projects and is now remotely managing more than 100MW load including lakhs of street lamps and tens of thousands of pumps.

Our Operations & Maintenance team, dubbed as ‘Projects Team’ here, with a 2000+ strong field personnel, has a proven track record of Implementing, Operating & maintaining Systems like Smart Light, Smart Pump, CCMS & other projects.
